About Montrose Alternative Learning Center:

Alternative learning centers provide educational services for students in grades K-10 who:

• are experiencing behavioral challenges
• are experiencing academic difficulties
• need a nontraditional learning environment
• are involved in serious disciplinary incidents

Montrose Alternative Learning Center's PTA:

On behalf of the Montrose PTA, we would like to welcome everyone to the Montrose community! We will strive to keep the lines of communication open between parents, teachers, administrators and the South Orange/Maplewood School District.  We hope everyone will immerse themselves in this community as we provide educational and fun opportunities for our preschoolers, and volunteer opportunities for parents and caregivers.
