About John W Tolbert Elementary School

Welcome to John.W. Tolbert, Jr. Elementary School. The 2019-20 school year will be our 19th year of operation. We pride ourselves on academic excellence in a safe and nurturing environment. We value our community and encourage community members to become involved in our school.

Good communication is the key to a successful school-home partnership. We encourage parents and caregivers to get involved in their child's education, communicate regularly with the teacher, and help their child to have regular and timely attendance. About the PTSA:

The PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality. The PTA has a direct impact on our childrens' education by purchasing educational software, teacher training, classroom supplies and providing grants for project based learning.
